Wine

One of Australia’s most exciting wine regions. It’s known particularly for cool-climate wines, not usually found elsewhere in the country. From Chardonnay to Shiraz the highlight is the emerging, alternative varieties like Roussane, Alvarinho, Malbec and Sagrantino.

Most of the wineries and vineyards in the area are owned and managed by individuals and families, who are passionate about innovative winemaking, making the experience a more intimate and memorable wine tasting adventure.

There are over 50 independent cellar doors to choose from. If you are unsure which one to choose, book a ½ or full-day tour with Rosetta Homestead.

The region is also home to several craft breweries and distilleries with many more to open over the next year or two including Conrad Distillery where you can experience behind the barrel weekend of learning the art of Distilling.
