TESTIMONIALS
The hosts, Deb and William are the definitions of ‘welcoming’ – Deb and William make it their mission to understand their guests’ needs to ensure their guest’s comfort while in their home. Smoked beef ribs – ‘amazing’ and thank you, William, for our morning coffee – perfect to start another day exploring (and the omelette with William’s secret ingredient :)). 5.30 cheese and wine in the lovely garden (incl. fire pit). Our day in the vineyards with William – thank you, Deb and William, for helping plan and book tastings necessary in the COVID environment.
We enjoyed our stay at Rosetta homestead immensely and left feeling relaxed. It was a different experience staying with the hosts in their homes. Our group of 4 found it easy to relax and enjoy being looked after. The meals were superb, the rooms spotless, and the hosts were friendly. I loved sitting in front of the fire at night trying a local wine and relaxing with our friends. We also enjoyed exploring the variety of the Granite belt produce including chocolates, wines, jams, and cheeses, with some great recommendations from the hosts.
Rosetta Homestead is the perfect location for a weekend getaway. Deb & Will were great hosts. We felt like we had a weekend away with friends. The beds were comfy, showers were hot, and just what you need after a long day of bushwalking. The wine tour with Will was of great value as his local knowledge enriched the experience. Riding in the Jag was far superior to the local bus tours. Breakfast was great – Will makes awesome bacon and tomato omelette. A welcome surprise was the company and conversation of other guests especially in the evening with wine and cheese around the outdoor fire pit. Overall, I would highly recommend Rosetta Homestead and will stay again.
Very clean cosy homestead is just what you need after driving a long way . The breakfast was delicious fresh berries and yoghurt with muesli and hot croissants, fresh barista coffees and juices . Then lashings of crispy bacon scrambled eggs or if you fancy a gourmet omelette. Just what you need to set you off for the day . The rooms are very cosy, fresh and clean . Debra and William are lovely hosts and you feel at home from the minute you arrive .
We booked a 3 day Christmas in July package, including breakfast and dinner; a half day visit to several wineries; a brewery; and Girraween National Park. Deb and Will were very welcoming, enthusiastic and excellent hosts. The food was good, especially the Christmas dinner with matching wines. We also enjoyed Mulled wine and nibbles and a perfume demonstration. The winery tour in Will’s Jaguar saloon was a nice alternative to the usual mini bus transport. Accommodation was warm and comfortable.
